I was born and raised in Alaska, and animals are an important part of my life. My dad would always bring home strays and from a young age I learned how to care for them. One of my earliest memories is him teaching me how to bathe and feed a lost old dog he brought home. Ever since then I have been in love with helping animals, in any way I can.
